🎶 Woohoo! We won the singing cup! 🎶

Look at this beautiful blossom tree right outside our classroom! We used this as a motivation for some artwork which you can see displayed at the school office area.

We have been reading the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' to help us with our Maths and learn the days of the week.
We made out own caterpillars and reread the story to make sure all of the days were in the correct order.

Swimming is great fun! 

We have been developing lots of skills in the water as well as managing ourselves while getting ready.

We had a great time celebrating 'Talk Like A Pirate' day with the rest of Pihipihinga.

First Week of School

What a busy first week we have had.

Here are some of the things we have enjoyed:

Paipeta, Cameron, Declan and North all enjoyed making snakes as we learned about the letter 's'.

Lilli liked using stamps to practise the alphabet, even singing the alphabet song as she worked.

Rikki enjoyed playing with the wooden construction materials, especially the cars.

Amelia and Sanaa liked playing on the playground outside our room. It looks like Lilli is having some fun there too.
